Cherry Blossom Biome Guide

Cherry Blossom biome guide in Steal a Egg

The Cherry Blossom biome is the tenth and newest region in Steal a Egg, added in the August 22, 2026 update by Crazay Minds. It sits beyond the Cosmic biome and introduced the Sakura Incubator, the Great Bloom event, and two new mutations—Bloom and Spirit Bloom—that multiply pet income. This guide covers entry requirements, the full pet roster, and how to unlock the Sakura Incubator that powers the biome’s mutation system.

Entry requirements

Two conditions gate the Cherry Blossom biome:

  1. 2.5 billion Speed minimum — roughly 3.6 times the Cosmic requirement of 700 million. Carry a heavy egg and you will need closer to 3.5 billion to escape reliably.
  2. Feed a Crane to the Cherry Blossom Tree — the region opens only after you hatch a Crane from a Cherry Blossom egg and sacrifice it to the large tree at the back of the zone.

The Crane requirement is circular by design. You must survive Cherry Blossom long enough to hatch a Crane, then give it up to properly unlock the region. This makes the Crane both your first reward from the biome and your key to its deeper content.

All 8 Cherry Blossom pets

PetRarityIncome per second
CraneEpic$4,000
SalamanderLegendary$74,000
Red PandaMythic$450,000
Snowy OwlCosmic$7,500,000
KoiCosmic$12,000,000
StagSecret$145,000,000
Oni TigerEternal$600,000,000
KitsuneDivine$1,800,000,000

Kitsune at $1.8 billion per second is the highest base income of any documented pet in the game. The two highest slots—Oni Tiger and Kitsune—represent the first Eternal and Divine tier entries in Steal a Egg.

How to unlock the Sakura Incubator

The Sakura Incubator is a permanent machine at the back of the Cherry Blossom biome that lets you mutate unhatched Cherry Blossom eggs before hatching them. To unlock it:

  1. Reach the Cherry Blossom biome with sufficient Speed.
  2. Hatch a Crane from a Cherry Blossom egg.
  3. Bring the Crane to the Cherry Blossom Tree behind the region and feed it to the tree.
  4. The Sakura Incubator activates permanently.

The Crane is consumed in the unlock process, but the Incubator stays available for all future use.

The Great Bloom event

The Great Bloom is the recurring event in the Cherry Blossom biome and the only source of Sakura Crystals, the currency that charges the Sakura Incubator.

  • The event starts approximately every 30 minutes on server time.
  • Each window lasts about 3 minutes.
  • An on-screen announcement alerts players when the Great Bloom begins.

How to collect Sakura Crystals

When the Great Bloom starts:

  1. Equip your Baseball Bat.
  2. Head to the Cherry Blossom biome.
  3. Hit the special Crystal Cherry Blossom Trees that appear during the event.
  4. Collect the Sakura Crystals that drop from each tree.

Stay near the Cherry Blossom biome before the event timer expires—travel time cuts into your collection window.

Sakura Incubator mechanics

Once unlocked, the Sakura Incubator accepts unhatched Cherry Blossom eggs from your inventory and mutates them using Sakura Crystals.

Process

  1. Keep a Cherry Blossom egg unhatched in your inventory.
  2. Place the egg in the Sakura Incubator.
  3. During the Great Bloom, collect Sakura Crystals.
  4. Use Crystals to charge the Incubator.
  5. The egg mutates before hatching.
  6. Hatch the mutated egg to reveal your result.

You cannot use eggs already placed on pads or pets that have already hatched.

Mutation odds at 100% charge

MutationChanceIncome multiplier
Bloom97.5%1.5x
Spirit Bloom2.5%3x

The Incubator can be charged beyond 100%, up to 150%. Higher charge improves the odds of Spirit Bloom but does not guarantee it.

Average expected multiplier at 100% charge: 1.537x per roll.

Strategic recommendations

Spend crystals on your best eggs

Because the multiplier is proportional, a 1.5x on a Divine pet is worth more than a 3x on a Forest common. Always prioritize mutating your highest-income eggs.

Do not rebirth before unlocking Incubator

The Crane unlock is one-time. Rebirthing before you have a Crane in inventory means starting the entire progression over. Make unlocking the Incubator a milestone before any rebirth reset.

Use Admin Abuse events for Speed boosts

The Saturday Admin Abuse event temporarily boosts Speed, making Cherry Blossom runs possible at stat levels that would fail in normal play. Plan your Crane farming around these windows if your Speed is below 2.5 billion.

Is it worth pushing for?

Your situationRecommendation
Below CosmicNo — compound income in earlier biomes first
Running Cosmic comfortablyYes — Cherry Blossom is the only route to 3x multiplier
Kitsune with Spirit BloomWorth more than every pet from the first nine biomes combined

FAQ

How do you unlock the Cherry Blossom biome?

Reach 2.5 billion Speed and feed a Crane to the Cherry Blossom Tree. The Crane must come from a Cherry Blossom egg you hatch in the biome itself.

What is the best Cherry Blossom pet?

Kitsune at $1.8 billion per second is the highest documented income pet in the game. Two higher-tier slots exist but names and figures have not been publicly confirmed.

How do you get the Sakura Incubator?

Hatch a Crane from a Cherry Blossom egg and feed it to the Cherry Blossom Tree at the back of the biome. The Incubator unlocks permanently after the sacrifice.

What are the Bloom and Spirit Bloom mutations worth?

Bloom applies a 1.5x income multiplier. Spirit Bloom applies a 3x multiplier—the highest of any mutation in the game. Exact odds improve with Incubator charge level above 100%.

When was Cherry Blossom added?

The biome launched August 22, 2026 alongside the Sakura Incubator, Great Bloom event, and two new mutations.

Can you reach Cherry Blossom without Robux?

Yes. Speed requirements are achievable through treadmill training, trail multipliers, and grinding. Admin Abuse events on Saturdays provide temporary Speed boosts that help bridge the gap.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

What speed do I need for Cherry Blossom?

A minimum of 2.5 billion Speed is required to survive the biome's guardian. Aim for 3.5 billion or higher when carrying an egg to ensure a clean escape.

What happens to the Crane after you use it to unlock the Incubator?

The Crane is permanently consumed. You cannot keep it and also unlock the Incubator—hatch another one if you want both.

How often does the Great Bloom event run?

Approximately every 30 minutes, lasting about 3 minutes each time. An on-screen notification announces the start.

What is the average mutation result from the Sakura Incubator?

At 100% charge, the average multiplier is 1.537x per roll. Most eggs receive Bloom (1.5x); Spirit Bloom (3x) appears on roughly 1 in 40 attempts.

Should you rebirth before unlocking Cherry Blossom?

No. The Crane sacrifice is required to unlock the Incubator, and you need to be in the biome to hatch a Crane. Rebirth only after securing your first Crane or Incubator unlock.
